2nd day with the Samaritan's purse team.

Preparing the shoe boxes for the village

The bus that would take us 2 hours away up and down mountains on "roads"

Smiles

Driving switchbacks on a bus is quite the experience

Sheep and goats blocked our path

We passed lots of houses that were built into the mountainside.

Now cows are in our way...

Stairway to heaven?

Meeting with one of the first female mayors in Kurdistan!

ohhh yaaaa

Rock climbing anyone?

The village we have to get to... the women on the trip did not enjoy this experience

The mountain was snow covered!

The kids lining up to get all the boxes

Some of the girls preparing us tea.

This guy really enjoyed his flashlight

This guy is just really cool

On our way back!
I assure you the road kept going...

This is epic

No one seemed to care about the leaning electrical poles

Beauty! So blue and so white!

So that mayor decided to provide us with dinner. soooo good.

Twins!

When I saw this I felt the urge to go sledding.

So a dump truck decided to drop all this dirt on the road... Anyone up for some off-roading in a bus?
